Copying someone's style and admitting it isn't good. Becoming a good flash artist entails taking tidbits of advice and style from many sources and adding some style of your own, becoming a unique voice in the flash community. Some say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I think it's just a general lack of cleverness and one's own creativity.

LuckyNumberSe7en responds:

dumb u r dumb

Meh.

Both the quality of the audio and that of the overall animation was pretty poor. And seeing that you didn't even make the audio, and that it's already quite a popular meme, you only really get credit for the animation, which wasn't great.

You speak of taking a long time dedicated to this, but a week is hardly anything, especially if this is the end result.

CorellonL responds:

True, true, I don't want credit for the audio, although I do find it to be epic. Thanks for your input, though! :)

Yeah.

That was pretty bad, and the spelling mistakes were numerous.

Sykotic-Sword responds:

I agree. This was not one of my better early flash movies.

Just no.

Just stop making these, they're low-quality and pointless, especially if you're aiming for a series page.

JackBlackKitten responds:

BUT THESE ARE SOOOOOOOO INTENSE NUDGE WAR 11 IS 30 MINUTES LONG

Pshyeah.

Of course it'll pass because it's clock day. A picture of a dot passed at 0.5kb because it's clock day.

Ninjurai responds:

i missed that one. text that says "i hate clock day, blam this please" passed too

Damn.

You tricked me into 4-ing it before I'd watched most of it, so I'll give you that much.

TNOAT responds:

And thats me silly

Pretty good.

Test-user, what in the hell are you talking about?! How is this about god and jesus and the passion?! WTF. It was a robot. Besides you said that he was traveling the world spreading the word of jesus and/or freedom. He only said it in the beginning and the end. NOT WHEN HE WAS BEING ABUSED. They weren't abusing him because he was spreading the word of christ, they were abusing him because HE IS A ROBOT THAT IS OUT OF PLACE. He then gets kicked/punched/shot to another place until he finds his place in life.

Jeez. You jesus-freaks scare me. Not christians, but the people who just care to goddam much about "the truth". *sigh*

Anyway, this animation had its flaws. It was well detailed and the music suited it very well. The animation was smooth, and everything went nicely together. But, the robot seldom moved, with the exception of hopping around like a ADHD kid stuck in a sealed trash can. You know? He was just stiff the whole time. It did show that he was a robot, but he moved an awful lot in the beginning, and it just kinda showed inconsistancy.

Overall good tho. And test-user, stop reading the bible so much. Getting a life does not mean memorizing random passages to fit every single happening in today's lifestyle. ~Peace

Godlimations responds:

Ok here we go!!

I tell you, this little animation is not LITERALLY based on the passion, or Jesus or God, but it is a hidden message that people of NG will think of how sad the robot got beaten up, and I believe those that comment on the animation are those that are searching for an answer from this little cartoon. You see, I just love evangelizing online, it may sound a bit lame to some people, but I don't care what they think hah! anyway...

You are taking it out of context, it doesn't matter when or where he suffered (yeah sure it would be good to know), why does it not matter? tell me, how many NG users would give a flop wanting to know? If they really wanted to know, they would search on Google for "jesus is the answer" It's my little scheme for evangelizing in a violent hateful website. There are sooo many unsaved on NG, they should start reading the Bible. Yes I am telling you guys to start, not asking.. telling because the Bible IS the Word of God.

About the 2nd question. My message was that the little robot was full of love, and freedom ofcourse, and that is exactly how Jesus felt upon us, I see where your coming at, This Robot is trying to find freedom, and Jesus was the Messiah finding freedom through us. Because to be free is to be free of Sin correct? and after the 3rd day Jesus was ressurected and ascended to siteth at the right hand of the Father, as the Robot went to his "so called" heaven.

Ok as for us freaking you out, and not the Christians... I've got news for you, I am a Christian, because just incase you didn't forget, to be a Chritian is to love Christ. And it is written that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. If you say the Jesus-freaks and not the Christians, Chritians are Jesus freaks because people who aren't Jesus freaks... people who say.. yeah I believe in God but does not read the Bible, how can you possibly consider yourself a Christian? When a Christian contradicts everything you just said. And the reason why we scare you/and others is because we have the truth, why is the Bible not allowed in certain countries? why is it the most stolen and sold book in history? why has it caused so much contraversi? I tell you, it holds the truth, Jesus is the truh.

thank you, I enjoyed animating it, I mean... working on it for 3 days, and then seeing it up front-page, come on now... that's just gotta be God working through me, like Bruce Nolan said, imagine what I can do in a week? heh. It was a good effect making him stiff the whole time :) maybe its just my imagination and cheated its way to front-page. Hey, about the Robot moving inconsistantly, are you saying to me that it looked fake? coz by all means, this whole cartoon isn't exactly real :)

Overall reply: I really did enjoy this, it gave me a challenge, just remember that I am not perfect, if you discover my ways of preaching aren't so appropriate in some areas are bad, then I'll follow what's in my heart. Trust me on this one, the Bible is the best thing that can happen to you, mate I can send you my Testimony! God has given us this mighty weapon to use, to follow in life. And hey hey, I know as a Christian I can't get offended, but I'm getting a feeling your'e telling me to get a life, now, really you can't personally say that because for one... ummmm you've never met me before hah! and 2, this is what my heart is telling me to follow and I cherish every moment of the life that God has given to me :) and I pray that you will find an answer to your search for the truth I really do, peace brother in Christ :)

That was completely awesome.

It's sp inspirational that it inspired me to actually write review!

This was extraordinary, and is immediately going into my favorite submissions list. w00t! May the superb animations continue.

AligatorHead responds:

yes indeed.

Very good.

What was that, the nazi revolution or something? Hahaha.

I agree with lossen51, this was completely pointless in plot. Maybe the plot was hidden and was the Nazi revolution, because the german heavy metal sure made it look that way.

This animation was exceptional in animation, the music was alright and sorta went along with the animation to give it more of an industrial grungy kind of feeling.

The excecution, however, was acceptable. I mean, everything flowed nicely and all, but anyone can copy/paste robots and do loops on things going by and machines doing stuff, and making a picture seem like it was moving by making it float across the screen without view of the legs (I am of course talking about that weird bald guy)

On a side note, at the preloader when it was loading the bald guy, I saw for a second that the red behind his glasses was just a blob scribbled down with a paint utensil. I thought that was funny, haha.

Anyway, this was in the end a close to really really good movie. The best animation parts (obviously) were the free hand of the robot shooting stuff during the Nazi song's chorus. That was the niftyest part. ^0^ |3

Lastly, it was nice to see the (american?) soldiers gawking in awe at the suposidly infinite swarm of flying nazi robots. Haha, that was awesome.

poxpower responds:

Yeah I don't know what the hell happens with that preloader. Oh well who cares :p Anyways, anything with Nazi robots has to be awesome, right?

I had to review this

just so I could ding you on a few "historically incorrect" things displayed.

First, Dynablade had nothing to do with King Dedede. That part was just weird.

Second, Kirby, Knuckle Joe, Dedede and etc never talked, and that's why I hate that stupid Kirby show on the Foxbox... it made Kirby suck salty balls

Third, Suplex Kirby only did hold attacks, and never really fought. You showed him throwing punches and kicks like fighter Kirby.

And, Dynablade was never Kirby or Knuckle Joe's friend, unless you count Metaknight's Revenge in Kirby Superstar when it was blowing up Metaknight's ship... heh good times

I should know all this information because I am a Kirby freak, and my nickname in 4th grade was Kirby... by that you could probably guess how old I am (14)

Besides, I also am just now beating the last thing on Kirby Superstar 'Milkyway Wishes' on my snes emulator. MUHAHA

Your animation was sucky too. It was just repetative... But, good to know there's other Kirby fan's out there :)

T0MMY responds:

The historical inaccuracies do not matter, it's a story I made up myself based on the games, not a direct translation of the story.

You might think my animating is "sucky," but your animation is non-existent ;)
I don't think it's that great of an animation, but it's quite impressive for 6 days work.
